Attention Web developers, designers, marketing and PR folks, and nonprofit directors and their supporters! Do you have what it takes to WIN a web building contest?
Join us for drinks, food and fun while learning about Web Accessibility. We'll demonstrate some of the technologies that blind, deaf and mobility impaired people use to access the Internet.
It's all to learn about a fantastic nonprofit Website Rally event called AIR-San Antonio, where professional web designers and developers team up with worthy local nonprofit organizations, and build a website in a single, fast-paced, fun-filled day. Teams compete for bragging rights and recognition in the community, and prizes are awarded for the most accessible websites in two categories.
There will be door prizes and great networking opportunities. Hear from past winners such as Rackspace, USAA, UTSA, Drew Walker Group and Firecat Studio, team up with other participants and meet some of the brightest lights in San Antonio's web community.
Here's a brief overview of the AIR-San Antonio event created by sponsors Firecat Studio and Red Gizmo.
If you know of a worthy San Antonio nonprofit, or a developer/designer, please pass the word along.
